Midwest Region Director
Part-time

Position
The Midwest Region Director is the primary development professional for ASUH in the Midwestern United States (specific territory outline to be defined with the candidate). Reporting to the ASUH Executive Director, he/she is charged with planning and implementing a fundraising campaign for the region which projects significant growth, while building the organizational infrastructure to support that endeavor. This is a part-time, two-days/week position with opportunities for future expansion.
Responsibilities
• Create and implement a development and marketing plan to increase financial support and public awareness for the University of Haifa
• Recruit and train lay leadership for a regional Advisory Board
• Identify, recruit, motivate and train volunteers in support of the University
• Engage in direct solicitation, prospect management, donor stewardship
• Pursue funds from foundations and other grant making organizations
• Represent the University
Qualifications
• Accomplished fundraiser with a minimum of 3 years experience in a fundraising senior role
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively with high level boards, committees and donors
• Experience in creating and implementing short and long range campaign plans
• Skill in cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors
• Experience in working with foundations and other grant making organizations
• In depth knowledge of the Jewish and general philanthropic communities
• Experience with multiple campaign strategies: direct marketing, planned giving, events, prospect research, etc.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Energetic and driven
