New Members Join ASUH Board
A graduate of Chicago Medical School and a Fellow of Cardiovascular Surgery at New York University, School of Medicine, Malcolm J. Dorman, M.D. has been recognized for his pioneering research in repairing mitral valves using minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Dorman, who has published extensively, has been honored by Israel Bonds and was presented with the Young Leadership Award by Israeli President Shimon Peres.
Widely known for his tenure as administrator of the Health Care Financing Administration during the Clinton administration, Bruce C. Vladeck, Ph.D., holds degrees from Harvard University and the University of Michigan, and held faculty positions at Columbia University and Mt. Sinai Hospital. Currently, Dr. Vladeck serves as senior advisor to Nexera, Inc., a subsidiary of the Greater New York Hospital Association.
