Sherri Morr, an experienced and successful non-profit fundraiser, has joined the American Society of the University of Haifa (ASUH) as Director, West Coast Region.
She succeeds Naomi Western who, after two years of distinguished service in the position, has decided to return to Israel with her young family.
“We are pleased to welcome Sherri to our team,” said Yefet Ozery, ASUH National Executive Director, “We look forward to her continuing to work with our outstanding volunteer leaders to increase the awareness and appreciation of the University of Haifa throughout the region.”
“Naomi has helped us increase the reputation of the University of Haifa on the West Coast,” commented Dr. Sharon Nazarian, Vice Chair of the ASUH Board of Directors and Chair of the West Coast Advisory Committee. “We wish her well in the next phase of her career and are delighted that Sherri has joined.”
Sherri was the Western Director of the Jewish National Fund for 12 years and most recently was a fundraising consultant developing campaigns and providing staff coaching for the American Technion Society, Jewish Women’s Theater and Jewish World Watch, among many others.
A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Sherri earned an MA in Non Profit Management from Hebrew Union College and received an Honorary Doctorate from Hebrew Union in 2005. She can be reached at 818.203.1541 or firstname.lastname@example.org
