Sultan has many years of leadership experience in marketing and resource development at NGOs and in the public sector, specializing in managing and building relationships with international donor andaffiliate networks.
Yariv Sultan (right) was born in Haifa in 1964. A graduate of Technion’s Bosmat Junior Technical College in Haifa, he received his Practical Engineer’s Diploma and served five years in the Israeli Navy. Mr. Sultan holds undergraduate and graduate degrees (with honors) from the University of Haifa Department of General History and an MA in Public Policy (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel-Aviv University’s Executive Program. He is also a graduate of the “Board of Directors and Corporate Senior Executive Course” at Tel-Aviv University.
In May 2014, Mr. Sultan received his Master in Public Administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Mr. Sultan has served as Emissary and Executive Director of the Jewish National Fund/Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael in Switzerland and Austria since 2005. He was Deputy Director, and later Director, of the Technion’s Division of Public Affairs and Resource Development from 1995 to 2000. Before being recruited by the Jewish National Fund, he held management positions at the Jewish Agency for Israel and WIZO. Mr. Sultan is a member of the Board of several not-for-profit foundations and consults to select foundations.
Mr. Sultan lives with his wife Liora and their three children in Kiryat Tiv’on.
