The discussion will be moderated by JORDANNA GESSLER, Vice President of Education and Exhibits at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust and University of Haifa Alumna.

DR. SHARON S. NAZARIAN
, Senior Vice President of International Affairs for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), heads ADL’s work fighting anti-Semitism and racial hatred globally. As President of the Y&S Nazarian Family Foundation, Dr. Nazarian focuses her philanthropic mission on education and public policy. She founded the Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies at UCLA to provide a systematic and academic study of Israel.

Dr. Nazarian devotes her time to several organizations, including serving as vice chair of the West Coast Board of American Society of the University of Haifa, and sitting on the Board of Governors of University of Haifa. She also sits on the Berkeley Institute’s inaugural Advisory Board, is a member of the Chairman’s Circle of the National Democratic Institute, is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, and sits on the board of the Crown Center for Middle East Studies at Brandeis University.

JORDANNA GESSLER is Vice President of Education and Exhibits at Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust and serves on the 3G@LAMOTH Executive Board, a group of grandchildren of Holocaust survivors passionate about stewarding legacy and engaging the future. In her current role, she is designing poignant education curricula for a digital learning framework during the pandemic-related stay-at-home policies. Ms. Gessler is a University of Haifa alum and completed a yearlong internship at Yad Vashem. As an advocate for animal rights, gender equality, and civil rights, Ms. Gessler is part of the prestigious Rautenberg New Leaders Project 2020.
