ASUH was pleased to work with the Museum of Jewish Heritage to present this special film which follows University of Haifa Board of Governors Vice Chair, Lady Irene Hatter, as she goes in search of more information about her father, the “Master of Bluffing” Salomon (Sally) Noach, a Dutch citizen who risked his life in Vichy France to save hundreds from deportation to Auschwitz. The screening was followed by an engaging discussion with Lady Hatter and survivor Herman Veder. Lady Hatter has generously donated the film to the Holocaust Studies Program at University of Haifa where it will be included in the curriculum.
